Biography

I am a Visual Artist working in a variety of mediums including; ceramics, wood, stone, metals, found objects, photography and land art.

I completed my Bachelor of Arts with Honours in 3D Design in woods, metals and ceramics.  I then went on to complete my Masters in Teaching for Further Education.  I have worked with Bradford College (UK) and TAFE NSW (Australia) as an Art and Design Teacher.

Travel has been a big part of my life and I have been inspired by wild natural spaces, climates and cultures around the world to develop my art practice and record my impressions with photography and land art.   This includes travel to Northern Europe, Yukon Territory (Canada), Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

I have been based on the Central Coast, NSW Australia since 2016, where I have been involved with public art commissions, local exhibitions, part time TAFE teaching ceramic sculpture and landscape gardening work. I produce Land Art Installations for shows such as Ephemera for the annual 5 Lands Walk on the Central Coast, have produced a War Memorial to Operation Jaywick & Rimau in Point Clare near Gosford and Restoration work in Hamilton, near Newcastle.

A love of nature and the environment drives much of my work, as well as a desire to support the continued diversity of people, culture and the natural world.
